TTS brought innovation to Interclean

Once again this year, TTS attended Interclean Amsterdam, the world's largest cleaning and hygiene trade fair, with 30,000 visitors from 143 countries. It was an intense four days characterised by a high turnout at our stand that allowed us to share solutions to the needs of an ever-changing market. Many visitors who came to see us thus discovered a preview of the latest innovations and tried them out first-hand. It was undoubtedly a unique opportunity for professionals to meet each other and a first-class stage where innovations ready to revolutionise the cleaning world could be presented.

What's new?

Well, it's easy to say: the prevention of cross-contamination and occupational illnesses was the theme of this edition for us, and we were looking forward to presenting two highly innovative solutions developed with the aim of maximising hygiene and minimising effort.

Firstly, there is Pockety, a unique touch-free system that allows mops to be disposed of without touching dirt, viruses and bacteria. Thanks to Pockety, the operator no longer has to touch the dirty fibres to release the mops, nor does he have to constantly bend over to pick them up from the floor after removing them: he simply slides the frame out of the lid to immediately remove the used mop, which is then collected in the mesh bag located inside the bucket. No matter if washable or disposable, Pockety is compatible with the entire range of mops with pockets, so the operator can use the most appropriate mop for the type of surface to be treated and the degree of dirt present.

The second new product is Wiz, the unique plate wringer that wrings out 10 to 20 per cent more than conventional wringers, reducing the drying time of the floor. It is equipped with an adjustment system that allows the moisture content of the mop to be varied and kept constant with each wringing, thereby the end result is not subject to the strength of the operator, who simply has to accompany the lever to the end of its stroke to immediately eliminate the excess water. No matter which mop you use or which wringing intensity you set, Wiz always requires half the effort compared to conventional wringers: tests show a reduction in effort of 50 to 70 per cent, resulting in a lower risk of injury and muscle pain.

This is not all: Interclean was also the perfect opportunity to present the range of window cleaning tools, the line of professional brooms and the 25-litre Lindy dustbins, which were added to the more than 4,200 items in the catalogue.
