Recycled plastic
Environmental responsibility has always influenced TTS’s choices, also with regard to raw materials: Magic trolleys feature components made of recycled plastic, certified Second Life Plastic (PSV) by the Institute for the Promotion of Recycling Plastics (IPPR).
Unlike simple self-declarations, PSV certification applies the international ISO 14021 regulation for calculating recycled content, ensuring the quality of recycled plastics and their traceability according to EN 15343. In addition, it involves periodic surveillance by the Certification Authority to ensure compliance over time with the requirements or the maintenance of the mark.
A green choice
Magic trolleys are made with high-density polypropylene, a low impact material that generates fewer CO2e emissions than aluminium, stainless steel, and chromed iron. Besides, several Magic trolleys’ components contain recycled PSV certified polypropylene (Plastic Second Life) which further halves emissions.
In 2019 TTS has started a long-term compensation programme to fully absorb the emissions associated with the annual production of Magic trolleys thus making it the first carbon neutral trolley line.

The eco-label confirms low environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle and health protection.
